The other night in the middle of a nightmare (I do no have regular dreams much lately) it came to me, if I claimed that I was not the typical money motivated know it ll...aka a Guru...then I must in fact be the opposite, an Urug! Everybody has to be Something! There are nights that I nearly fall asleep when suddenly I begin to think about making money with these online ventures, and I sit up in a cold sweat screaming ! How do these people who make millions in only 2 years handle the pressure?
Do not be afraid to speak out! Although this is written in a lighthearted way, those who have been through the process know how much a little help can make things a bit easier!

Sorry I have been away so long, but I did not realize that writing a blog or possibly starting an online business was going to be so much work! The first thing I read was that the most important thing was to build a list...TRAFFIC IS KING! Well I started off looking for list builders and traffic builders and every other Traffic building program and before I knew it I woke up one morning and opened my e-mail to find over 300 entries I had to sort through and sign up for and download the latest and greatest information on everything you can imagine on the subject of getting started on the web. Then I opened 2 new e-mail accounts to help sort out list building information and traffic leads from online business opportunities...now it is 2 weeks later and I have finally got my AOL account down to 30 entries (as of midnight tonight) and my 2 Gmail accounts under 100 each! Now it is time to start deciding what I want to do with all this new found information! Hint: I have found out that there is a LOT of garbage out there posing as useful information!
I decided early on (with the help of my wife) that I was going to see what you could do if you were starting off from scratch...with NO budget! Actually there is quite a lot of free information out there, unfortunately I have found out that as in most things you get what you pay for! That is not to say you cannot find some nuggets among the lumps of coal but many of the FR*EE links are just covers for the real stuff inside for which you have to pay. The sad part is that most of the ads are productions you have to sit through for 20 minutes only to find out it was not what you were expecting, or a special, today only, if you leave this page you will lose out forever scam...In fact if I have learned anything in my quest for knowledge on the Internet it is there are some really clever and talented people who have devised ways of scamming you out of money for stuff that is outdated and probably never worked before it was rendered obsolete by Google in it's last changes to control online marketing!
That is not to say you cannot find some useful things online for fr*ee. I have posted a few gadgets on this page that I have found useful and filed a few more away for future reference when it comes time to get serious about all this. I do believe I can start a few things to get "seed" money that I can use to buy more meaningful "stuff" in the future, but for now all of this is one big learning experience. When all is said and done (if I live that long) I intend to write the consummate Blog on how to start an online business from scratch and live long enough to enjoy a long weekend off the proceeds! In the mean time I have not made a single cent from any of the affiliate programs I have been saving up for the right time and have set up 2 PayPal accounts for when the flood gates open...just in case. I have filled up several legal pads with information that I need to find time to organize and enter in some fashion to make putting together a program a real possibility...but in the time that takes I will be back to over 300 e-mails to review in each of my accounts! Oh well, after another 10 hour day of trying to organize my plan I need to take a breather...until tomorrow!
